Position Details: CDL Class A Driver/Utility Operator

Description:

Daily responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Driving a fork truck or clamp truck to move materials, load and unload trailers.
• Maintaining housekeeping standards.
• Entering data into computer systems.
• Sorting, staging, and moving wastepaper into production line.
• Wrapping and labeling finished product.
• Performing work according to safety standards and established standard operating procedures.
• Working in a fast-paced, team-oriented crew.

Back up driving responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Performing spotter responsibilities when full-time spotter is not available.

Must have requirements:

• Valid driver’s license
• Valid CDL Class A license
• Successful completion of drug and background screen
• Successful completion of Work Keys testing

Preferred experience:

• Fork and clamp truck experience
• Manufacturing and warehouse experience

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to:

Frequently: Sit, stand, walk, climb stairs, and speak and hear clearly, work with others, use keyboard/calculator, and lift up to 20 lbs.

Occasionally: Ascend/descend stairs, ladders, or ramps, bend forward at the waist, crouch, push, pull, twist, drive, handle, reach above the shoulders, use hand tools, reach below shoulder, squat and lift up to 50 lbs.

Vision: Must be able to see color, close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
