ST Tissue Franklin VA manufacturing facility

We are seeking applicants with an interest in working in a fast paced manufacturing environment. Prior manufacturing experience is a plus. Candidates will need to possess mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot equipment.

Employees will function in a lean, team based environment. Additionally, those hired must be willing to do work outside of their normal job duties to help achieve safety, quality and productivity goals.

Must be willing to work 12 hour rotating shifts including holidays and weekends.

E & I Technician

Reports to: E&I Leader ST Tissue

We are looking for a skilled E&I Technician who has experience with industrial equipment maintenance. We operate a safe, clean facility and consider security and safety our top priorities, so we are looking for a professional whose values reflect our own.
Responsibilities include:
Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities include the following:
• Maintain and troubleshoot mill electrical power systems; 2,400 V, 480 V, 240/120V and 24VDC.
• Utilize PLC and DCS System to troubleshoot.
• Perform basic maintenance and troubleshooting on automated control systems (PLC/DCS) and computer workstations.
• Install, setup and maintain process equipment – motors, motor starters, variable speed drives, various devices, etc.
• Calibrate, troubleshoot, repair and maintain various instruments such as flow, pressure, level and temperature devices and controllers.
• Troubleshoot system problems to determine if they are electrical, instrument or mechanical in nature.
• Have knowledge of electrical, electronic, pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
• Read electrical, gas and steam usage meters; record information and generate monthly reports; and report out-of-calibration situations.
• Perform PID control loop tuning to bring control loops to a precision state.
• Read and interpret blueprints, P&ID’s and schematics and make proper installations/changes.
• Manage special projects as needed.
• Provide daily support to all plant operations in order to continue 24/7 operations.
• Willing to work overtime and provide off hours call-out support when required.
• Complete scheduled and non-scheduled work orders.


Qualification Requirements, Education, Skills and /or Experience:
• Must have excellent troubleshooting skills
• Experience working with instrumentation preferred.
• 2 year Associates degree in instrumentation or technical discipline preferred.
• Must be able to read and understand P&ID’s, electrical drawings, etc.
• Must be able to work in a collaborative team environment maintaining a positive attitude with others including customers, employees and vendors.
• DCS/ABB Controls and PLC Logic experience preferred.

Accounts Payable Clerk / Administrative Assistant

We are looking for a responsible, experienced support professional to manage accounts payable in addition to performing a variety of traditional administrative tasks including 1) reporting, tracking and documentation – multiple areas, 2) front desk management, and 3) clerical support for multiple departments.

The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, detail-oriented, have strong problem solving skills, and exceptional communication skills. Must be proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Word. The ability to work in a fast-paced environment, juggling interruptions and multiple priorities under tight deadlines is essential. Must be extremely organized with strong time-management skills. Three to five years’ experience with accounts payable preferred.
